Hitachi 50″ Full HD1080 Ultravision® Plasma HDTV (P50S601) Review
Conclusion
As Hitachi 50″ Ultravision® Plasma HDTV (P50S601) can be found for a decent price in many retailers, this should be a great choice for who are looking in getting a FullHD 1080 (1920×1080) plasma display that carries enormous features like PictureMaster™ HD IV, ClearWindow™ Plasma Technology for smoother image reproduction with higher brightness output and less visible grid structure and awesome producing colors capability of over 281 Trillion Color Capacity (16 Bit).
A nice feature is the “Day/Dynamic/Night Memory” which let you customized three settings for each input match the picture settings to the ambient light conditions of the viewing environment. The P50S601 can be found for less than $2,000 in many retailers, which means it’s not an expensive product for its category.
The TV also had a very good performance when playing Blu-ray movies from a PlayStation 3 and also didn’t fail in processing on showing upscaled SD image.

Pros:
- Sharper and realistic picture quality
- Full HD (1920×1080) resolution.
- PictureMaster™ HD IV processor allowing image correction.
Cons:
- Third HDMI on the front panel. (Although many people prefer the third HDMI also on the back, it can be sometimes useful for fast HDMI port access.)
- MMC Card slot for service upgrade only.
- No PIP or Split Screen Capability
