D-Link DNS-323 NAS Review
Conclusion
The D-Link DNS-323 NAS turned to be a really easy to use NAS device, rich in features and most importantly - at low-cost. The DNS-323, although being a simple model, looks quite elegant with its all-black finishing and silver accents. It’s also adequate for business and home environments.
With good build quality and a price around $200, which can be found lower at online retailers, D-Link was able to offer a solution for those looking a way to share files throughout a home or office network using SATA drives supporting RAID for data protection and/or performance.
Easy set up, configuration and good features demonstrate how D-Link has come up with a great solution, and thus it gets our ‘Recommended Product!’ award.

Pros:
- Reasonable price; cheap when comparing to similar NAS devices.
- Easy to set up.
- Good build quality.
- Gigabit Ethernet.
- RAID (0 and 1) and SATA drive support.
- Good performance.
- iTunes, FTP and print server.
Cons:
- No physical lock on front panel and hard drive release levers.
- USB port only for print server.
