D-Link DNS-323 NAS Review

The D-Link DNS-323 NAS comes in a traditional case design in a nice styled black case with silver accents on its front, being a compact NAS measuring 4.1” W x 7.8” D x 5.2” H. Also on the front, there is a square power button and 3 blue activity status LEDs.

On the sides, nothing else can be seen more than the D-Link logo, although it looks good with this kind of all-black finishing. At the rear of unit, a single exhaust fan is placed on the middle, along with a pair of handles to allow the SATA drives being ejected out of the device. An AC power input, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and a USB print server port can also be seen on the back.

This enclosure also allows you to create a central network point for backing up valuable files and the built-in RAID 1 mirroring technology protects these files from drive failure. You can also use this device to stream music, photos, and videos to UPnP™ AV compatible network media players.
