Conclusion

The MaxOrb, which has a good history of performance in its previous series, continues with its tradition. With improved design and carrying 6 heatpipes it brings solid results.

The aesthetics is great, MaxOrb looks cool, with a blue LED included together in the 120mm fan. Thankfully, the installation is easy, the only detail is taking care when handling the cooler, actually with the heatsink aluminum fins, which is pretty delicate.

Pros:

  • Universal platform (Intel LGA775, AMD 754/939/AM2)
  • Well lapped shinny surface
  • Six heat pipes
  • Built-in speedfan controller (Although not in the best placement)

Cons:

  • Somewhat loud at High speed
